Regular posts shall be resumed shortly...

Because right now I am in Hong Kong!

Thanks to a local friend we have enjoyed some wonderful Yum Cha, learned how to eat a dumpling the right way and savoured tasty Mandarin food with stunning views of the bay. We have haggled with vendors, bar hopped from Kowloon to Hong Kong island and even watched the National Day Fireworks display a - it has been a busy 48 hours!

There is so much more to do in so little time, and I have a sneaking suspicion I shall develop a craving for Cantonese/Mandarin food upon my return home - Spring Rolls anyone?

  3. YUM CHA! :D I'm so glad to see that you're in HK, that's my hood, yo ;) Well. Not mine, exactly, mine's London, but HK is where my family are from and some still are! In fact my mom is out that way at the moment - she's travelling to Malaysia today, but has been in HK for about two or three days.

Looking forward to seeing all of your FAB photos when you get back! Enjoy it! (Do lots of shopping on Granville Road!)

  4. Jealous! Yum cha is seriously my favourite food group. Mr W and I went bonkers on it at lunch yesterday. Have a steamed pork bun for me!!
